Information in a procurement inquiry
The inquiry form asks for name, work email, phone, company and procurement requirements. Buyers may include product specifications, farming application, quantity, destination, delivery needs and document questions. Optional budget and supplier preferences help explain the requested comparison. Provide information relevant to the business task and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal details.
How the brief is used
Inquiry information supports review of the requested agricultural product scope and follow-up through the contact details provided. Where manufacturer matching or quotation coordination is discussed, relevant product requirements may need to be shared with proposed counterparties. The exact scope of additional services and information exchange should be confirmed during that discussion.
Optional form controls
Product selection, budget amount, currency, budget basis and purchasing preference are combined into the existing requirements message when the form is serialized. The typed requirements remain intact in the visible textarea. Without JavaScript, include those optional details directly in the message. A preference is buyer context and is not a supplier rating.
Local browser storage
The sourcing-support component stores a first-seen timestamp in localStorage to limit its automatic display window to seven days. A ticker-close state in sessionStorage controls visibility during the browser session. These values describe component display state. Browser settings can remove local storage; the component does not use a countdown or create a purchasing obligation.
Accuracy, access and follow-up
Use contact details that can receive procurement clarification. If information changes, submit a follow-up requirement explaining the correction. Requests about access, correction or deletion can be raised through the contact form with enough context to locate the conversation. Retention, deletion and any applicable obligations require review of the actual record and service context; no fixed processing period is stated here.
External pages and operational limits
Articles may link to external manufacturer or technical references for specification vocabulary. Those publishers control their own pages and privacy practices. Website templates and local previews do not prove that a production endpoint has received an inquiry; submission receipt and any notification arrangements depend on the deployed service. Read the Terms of Service for the distinction between inquiry options and confirmed commercial offers.
